Cadmatic is training young engineering minds in Italy

Posted on April 07, 2025

Cadmatic is proud to announce that we have delivered our very first high school-level software training in Italy, at Istituto Leonardo da Vinci in San Giovanni in Fiore.

From March 31 to April 4, Cadmatic trainer Giuseppe Pecorella spent five days with students from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th years, introducing them to the fundamentals of 3D engineering using Cadmatic software.

Learning by doing – and enjoying it

The training covered all the basics from creating pipelines, modeling equipment, and generating 2D drawings to getting comfortable with the tools needed to bring engineering projects to life. The students were eager to learn, and their enthusiasm was matched by the commitment of their teachers, who plan to introduce Cadmatic as a regular part of the curriculum.

“It was great to have the chance to be a teacher for a week. I thank the teachers enormously for their kindness and I wish the students the best of luck for their future. Their curiosity and energy made the experience truly rewarding, says Giuseppe”

A first step with lasting impact

This marks the first time Cadmatic has offered high school-level training in Italy – and it’s clear it won’t be the last. The success of the course has opened the door to continued collaboration, with the school already planning to share the experience with other institutions in the region.

At the end of the week, both students and faculty warmly thanked Cadmatic for the opportunity – and Giuseppe for his professionalism and supportive approach throughout the training.

We’re excited to see how this partnership grows, and proud to be empowering the next generation of engineers with the tools they need to shape the future.
