The Cadmatic Digital Wave Forum 2025 in Palm, Spain from May 21–22 attracted 126 customers from 54 companies and 4 trusted partners. The forum brought together innovators from both the marine and process industries to explore how digitalization is reshaping the future of design, engineering, and operations.
The two-day event was packed with insightful presentations, lively discussions, and inspiring customer stories.

- Innovation & investment in digitalization – In the opening address, Cadmatic CEO Detlef Schneider explored the future of digitalization across the marine and process industries. He discussed key trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- AI-powered ship design – Madalina Florean showcased how AI and automation are streamlining ship design, transforming collaboration, and driving efficiency – from contract to production.
- CADMATIC Wave evolution – Marcus Bole and Aleksi Juhola shared how Wave is helping shipbuilders boost productivity with smarter document management, streamlined workflows, and faster integration of CAD models.
- Seamless 3D and P&ID integration – Lucas Fransman and Marco Hettinga highlighted how CADMATIC is breaking down barriers in data handling, with features that simplify P&ID design and connect it directly to 3D models.
- Hull design innovations – Richard Pereira and Binne Viersen introduced powerful new features like Jumbo Panels and enhanced modeling capabilities that are transforming structural design workflows.
- Simplifying electrical engineering – Tommi Piispa demonstrated how CADMATIC Electrical makes complex cable routing and documentation easy, accurate, and fully integrated into 3D models.
