SeaTech has been a CADMATIC user since 2012.In June 2015, SeaTech used CADMATIC Marine Design Software for its TG 17 Fi-Fi Tug project. They completed the project in one year. The ship was delivered for sea trials in August and has been in service since October. SeaTech uses CADMATIC as its primary software tool for design projects due to the high level of software user coverage in Russia.
SeaTech used CADMATIC on the project for the detailed design and production information of the hull, ship systems, deck equipment, ship gears, accommodation and ER system. All equipment drawings, installation drawings including supports, finishing, painting, installations, accommodation equipment, electricity and automation of all schemes , calculations and cable layout were also done in CADMATIC. In addition, SeaTech used CADMATIC to design a special tug pontoon system to transfer the ship from the yard to deep water.
SeaTech used all the CADMATIC Marine Design software modules for this project. “We are very satisfied with CADMATIC’s capabilities. Full 3D modelling of all drawings, nesting cards and spools were all of very high quality. We were also able to deliver the ship to the shipyard on time. CADMATIC ensures a high level of accuracy, so we don’t need to throw any wasted hull parts or pipes,” says Peter V. Ezhov, CEO of SeaTech.
