CADMATIC celebrates 35 years of software development

In late August CADMATIC employees and their family members gathered in Turku, Finland to celebrate 35 years of CADMATIC software development. Nearly 200 guests from 11 countries took part in the milestone jubilee festivities that were held at the historical Turku Castle.

The event included a visit to the CADMATIC headquarters in Turku, dinner, entertainment, dancing, and late night celebrations.

In addition to the festivities, the guests were treated to a historical perspective of CADMATIC’s software development journey, which started in 1982. The 35 years of software development have seen the use of several brand and company names, such as PMS, NUPAS, Nupas-Cadmatic, and Cadmatic. In 2015 Cadmatic Oy and Numeriek Centrum Groningen BV merged their operations after which the company and brand have both been known as CADMATIC.

CADMATIC software is currently being used by over 900 customer organizations in over 56 countries. One of the cornerstones of the success has been the close cooperation CADMATIC has enjoyed with its customers and partners. Jukka Rantala, CADMATIC CEO, indicated at the event that he expects all the people that work at CADMATIC to make the next 35 years even more successful.
