CADMATIC reports robust growth for 2016

In 2016 CADMATIC continued the strong growth of recent years with turnover increasing by 60 % to a new record level of 14 million euros. The profitability of business operations has also remained at a good level.

CADMATIC software was implemented in 46 countries in 2016. The most significant growth was seen in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Far East. The countries in these regions represent nearly 60 % of new customer sales. European and North American sales are also at good levels and constitute 65 % of total sales. Export accounted for over 90% of business operations.

“Many of our customers are pursuing growth through automation. In recent years, digitization and its effect on human life has become a hot topic for discussion. It has been at the core of our activities for the last 30 years. Our customers in the process, energy and marine industries are digitizing, automating and optimizing their design, construction and information management with the use of our solutions,” says CADMATIC CEO Jukka Rantala.

Number of employees to increase by 20% in 2017

As a result of the strong growth CADMATIC expects its number of employees to grow from the current 110 to about 130 during 2017. It is, in particular, significantly increasing its product development resources to ensure that the company’s flexibility, know-how and innovation capacity remain at high levels.

“Highly skilled people who understand our customers’ needs and are able to efficiently work together to deliver solutions for these needs is at the core of everything we do. For employees like that there will always be room in CADMATIC,” Rantala says.
