According to the survey Cadmatic 3D software continues to be the market leader in it's own field (3D plant and ship design). Compared to the results of last years similar survey, Cadmatic's relative market share has continued to increase steadily.

The results of this year's survey included statistics of both the number of users and number of companies using a particular software product. Cadmatic is number one in both respects among 3D software users. According to the survey in 2D plant and ship design our market share is 52% and in 3D software our market share is 48%. In combined market share (2D + 3D) AutoCAD has a 28% share and Cadmatic's share is 22%, followed by AutoCAD LT with 12%, Microstation with 9% and PDMS 8%.
