Ningbo Xiaogang PM 1 is a greenfield board making line delivered by Metso Paper. The new line produces 700,000 tons/year of white lined chipboard (WLC) with a basis weight range of 250 to 450 g/metres square. The five-ply board line has a trim width of 8.1 m and a design speed of 900 m/min.

Mill engineering was carried out by using CADMATIC 3D Plant Design Software and the project was distributed over several locations.
