PEC-Tech and Finnish Cadmatic Ltd. has signed agreement to implement CADMATIC 3D Plant Design Software for PEC-Tech's EPC Group (see www.pec-tech.com ). The signed agreement consists the delivery of CADMATIC Software licenses and training of PEC-Tech's designers for the use of CADMATIC Software.
The agreement was signed 13th December 2000. The practical training in Finland was started 12th February and first CADMATIC users started at PEC-Tech's Indonesian office in the end of April.
PEC-Tech will use the CADMATIC software to improve effectivity and quality in plant design and engineering. The delivery includes software modules for the process engineering and mechanical plant design. Using CADMATIC Software, PEC-Tech now changes its design and engineering methods from conventional 2D design to database driven and advanced 3-dimensional engineering. This will improve PEC-Tech's own design and engineering procedures and also gives added value for the end clients. As a result of the shorter duration of the project, the improved quality of design, and the integrated data management are achieved savings also in the total costs of the mill investments.
