Giprobum Ltd and Cadmatic Oy have signed an agreement to implement CADMATIC 3D Plant Design Software for Giprobum's design and engineering. With CADMATIC software Giprobum will change its design and engineering methods from 2D design to database driven 3-dimensional engineering.
This will improve Giprobums's own design and engineering procedures and also gives added value for the end clients. As a result of the shorter duration of the project, the improved quality of design, and the integrated data management are achieved savings also in the total costs of the mill investments.
The delivery includes software modules for the process engineering and mechanical plant design. The signed agreement consists of the delivery of CADMATIC Software licenses and training of Giprobum's designers for the use of CADMATIC Software The practical training phase has begun this fall as well as the actual use of the software at Giprobum in Russia.
