In addition, Cadmatic provides special modules and interfacing modules to link and integrate the software with other softwares.

Cadmatic Diagram
Cadmatic Diagram is an integrated computer-aided design system for flow diagram and P&ID design using one common master database. Information flow from piping diagrams to later design phases (Plant Modeller and Pipe) is assured by means of direct database link.
          Documentation for different piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment lists, pipeline lists, valve lists, etc. are produced.
          Intelligent symbols, unlimited process size, control of revisions and advanced database management with user definable report generator and script language are just some of the features of Diagram module. Diagram can be used independently or together with Plant Modeller
and it can be interfaced with calculation software packages with internal script language by the user.

Cadmatic Plant Modeller
Cadmatic Plant Modeller is an integrated, database-driven design module for 3-dimensional layout, piping and HVAC design of plants in shaded and colored views.
              Documentation for layout drawings, piping & HVAC drawings, material, equipment etc. lists, axonometric, and perspective are produced.
Plant Modeller uses a unique 3D viewing technique to allow the designer to change from conventional work methods fast and efficiently to the computer model design.
          Plant Modeller includes collision detection, shading and walk-around. It has an unlimited plant size and its hidden line removal is among the fastest on the market. Plant Modeller has an advanced database management
with user definable report generator and powerful macro language. It includes also an interactive component modeller and takes into account the manufacturers specific manufacturing technology among other things.
           Plant Modeller can be used independently or together with Diagram and/or Pipe.

Cadmatic Pipe
Cadmatic Pipe is a module of the Cadmatic system that efficiently produces all the needed drawings and material lists that are required in the manufacture and installation of piping.
          Input geometry is read from Plant Modeller module.
          Ready drawings (isometrics , spools, lists) are produced automatically from the input data. They can, however, be modified also manually.
          Pipe understands manufacturing technology. Data for bending machines and other manufacturing parameters for example can be added in the database.
         Besides isometric drawings and spools, material take-offs, information for manufacturing like cutting lists, surface treatment, total weight and center of gravity can be output from Pipe.

Cadmatic Plant Browser
Cadmatic Plant Browser is the lighter version of Plant Modeller. It's the tool for viewing, checking and accessing engineering data. It's a useful tool especially for project management, supervisors, mounters, plant maintenance etc. It can be used independently or as an interface to other modules e.g. Cadmatic Maintenance module.
          The user can view 3D model from different directions, create and delete views, print hardcopies and colourpictures. With Plant Browser's walkaround, the user can "walk" in a virtual plant environment. The user can perform diffrent measurings and access engineering data by clicking objects with mouse.

Cadmatic eBrowser
Cadmatic’s new eBrowser is a tool that makes communication between designers and customers more efficient. Accessible through an ordinary Internet browser, eBrowser allows the users to review the virtual plant designs in 3D anywhere and in real time.
           The idea of eBrowser is simple. Special eBrowser models are generated from the actual 3D designs to be viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The eBrowser model files are light, and therefore easy to transfer over the Internet  anywhere in the world. 
           eBrowser is an efficient and versatile visualisation and data access tooll for sales and marketing, training the designers, project management, communication between project parties, design reviews, construction and intallation, training the operating personel, and in the plant maintenance work.

Cadmatic Maintenance
Cadmatic Maintenance is a separate module for plant maintenance. Cadmatic Maintenance has been designed in cooperation with design and maintenance professionals and every function and characteristic necessary for practical application can be found in the software. Specifications for devices, equipment and spare parts, maintenance tasks, maintenance history, documents, inventory management of spare parts and purchasing can be managed with Cadmatic Maintenance.
         Interfacing Cadmatic Plant Modeller, eBrowser and Cadmatic Maintenance gives the maintenance personnel an efficient and 3 dimensional mean of taking care of the plant service.
            Cadmatic Maintenance can be interfaced also to other leading maintenance programs ( IFS, SAP R/3)

INTERFACING:

2D DXF in/out Diagram/Plant Modeller
This interface reads into CADMATIC Diagram and Plant Modeller modules AutoCAD compatible 2D DXF files to be used as reference drawings. It also generates from CADMATIC Diagram and Plant Modeller modules
AutoCAD compatible intelligent 2D DXF files to be read into drafting programs like xEagle that have a 2D DXF read-in feature.

3D DXF in Plant Modeller
This interface reads into CADMATIC Plant Modeller module AutoCAD compatible 3D DXF files, like from xEagle, to be used as true 3D geometric models within Plant Modeller so that for instance collision detection can be run.

3D DXF out Plant Modeller
This interface generates from CADMATIC Plant Modeller module 3D DXF files to be read into e.g. AutoCAD.

Interface to Plant Maintenance
Using interface between Cadmatic Plant Browser or Plant Modeller and Cadmatic Maintenance module 3D model works as an interface to the plant maintenance data. It means that user can walk in a virtual plant environment and access maintenance data (e.g. to open device card) by clicking desired devices and other objects with mouse.
User is not required to remember equipment codes or labels.
           The interface offers also the unique possibility of
using 3D model as a tool for reporting. The user can make different queries e.g. where are these devices and 3D model will show and visualize the location of desired objects.
           With the interface it is possible to transfer engineering data automatically from CAD-system to the maintenance system so that there is no need to feed
the same information twice to separate systems and users can be sure that the same information is in use of all users.
          3D model is an effective tool in the plant maintenance work. Instead of updating thousands of drawings you will update one 3D model in a maintenance and rebuilding project. The 3D model includes all data of your plant design.
